Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid-plan cancellation, failed AI requests, credit reversals, purchase refunds and consumer rights.
Effective date: September 20, 2026

Credits and card refunds are different. A failed hosted AI job releases its credit reservation. A Paddle purchase refund follows Paddle’s policy and applicable law. Free access does not create recurring payments.
1. Free access and administrator grants
Free / Free Beta is not an automatically started or hidden trial and has no recurring billing or auto-renewal by itself. A paid subscription needs separate affirmative checkout. Free access does not automatically spend credits, but explicitly requested TimelineFlow generations spend their quoted credits, including grants.
Administrator grants and promotional credits have no cash purchase value and cannot be refunded as a card payment. Their allocation terms and expiry appear in the wallet. Correcting an erroneous ledger entry does not create a paid subscription.
2. Subscription renewal and cancellation
Recurring payment applies only after affirmative acceptance at Paddle checkout. Cancel through Manage subscription in your wallet when available, the buyer portal or the link in your Paddle receipt. See paddle Terms and paddle Refunds. If cancellation is inaccessible, contact [email protected] or Paddle buyer support.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the current period end: no further renewal is charged and no monthly credits are issued for cancelled future periods. Existing monthly credits expire at period end; purchased and granted credits retain their disclosed expiry. Removing an administrator-granted plan does not cancel a separate Paddle subscription.
Deleting the account or application and stopping use do not themselves cancel a subscription. Cancellation is not automatically a prorated cash refund. Mandatory rights and applicable Paddle terms take precedence.
3. Purchase refunds
Paddle handles cash refunds for its transactions. Its paddle Refunds and mandatory local rights govern eligibility. Report duplicate or unauthorised charges, undelivered paid access and materially faulty or misdescribed services promptly. No blanket no-refund rule overrides those rights.
A purchase refund or chargeback reverses its corresponding credit allocation or entitlement. If the credits were already spent, an adjustment may reduce future available credits; it does not authorise another card charge. Review wallet history and report incorrect adjustments.
Where no statutory refund right applies, Paddle may consider a discretionary refund request submitted within 14 days of the transaction. Approval is not automatic and may depend on the product, usage and reason. This does not limit remedies for defective services, unauthorised charges or mandatory consumer rights. Use the support link in the payment receipt or paddle Support to request a refund or cancel future renewals.
4. Consumer and withdrawal rights
Mandatory rights depend on your country and the digital content or service purchased. Some purchases include statutory withdrawal periods. Immediate supply affects rights only when legally required disclosure, express consent and acknowledgement were obtained. See the country-specific sections of paddle Refunds. This page does not waive statutory rights.
5. AI jobs, reservations and provider charges
TimelineFlow AI reserves the quoted maximum. A confirmed technical provider failure or cancellation before accepted work releases the reservation. Running or uncertain work is reconciled before final adjustment, so release may not be immediate. Completed provider work may be payable even if you close the browser or pause future work.
A successful generation that misses artistic expectations is not by itself a technical failure. Variations, edits and regeneration are new priced requests. Remedies for materially faulty or misdescribed services remain available. Verified unused or over-reserved credits are released or credited back within the approved price cap.
BYOK is billed directly by the chosen provider under its policy. TimelineFlow cannot refund provider spend, electricity, compute, stock-media fees or third-party workflows. A TimelineFlow subscription does not make external requests free.
6. How to request help or a refund
Contact [email protected] promptly, or use the Merchant of Record's support link on your receipt. Include the account email, order or transaction ID, charge date and amount, reason, and relevant evidence. Do not email full card numbers, passwords, API keys, or Connector tokens.
- Duplicate or suspected unauthorised charges should be reported as soon as discovered so the processor can investigate and secure the account.
- We may ask for reasonable identity and purchase verification and may refer the request to the Merchant of Record, which controls the payment transaction.
- Approved refunds return to the original payment method where possible. Bank and processor posting times vary; taxes and currency conversion are handled under applicable rules.
7. Chargebacks and abuse
Contact support before filing a chargeback when practical so a billing error can be investigated. This does not limit your right to dispute an unauthorised or invalid charge. Fraudulent refund claims, chargeback abuse, repeated Free Beta abuse, or use of the Service after a full refund may result in restriction or termination and submission of relevant evidence to the payment provider.
8. Changes and related terms
We may update this Policy prospectively. The version presented at checkout and mandatory law govern the relevant purchase. Material changes to an active auto-renewing subscription will receive notice when required.
See the Terms of Service for account and subscription rules and the Privacy Policy for billing-data handling.
